Rachael Fulton writes the latest in our nostalgic series offering a bit of advice to our sixteen-year-old selves, this time with a bit of a twist.
I’ll avoid the ever-patronising ‘When I was your age…’ because I know the eye-roll you’d punctuate it with. I do not dare condescend to you, so brimming with sass and attitude-charged as you are, nor would I encourage others to risk it. You are cutthroat in your confidence, sharp and eloquent in arguments. You are an idiosyncratic whirlwind of personality and promise, one that takes no prisoners. You do not suffer fools ( like the rest of us mere mortals) gladly.
